Swine Flu
The incidence of patients
reporting symptoms of Swine Flu is increasing.
Best advice is do not come to the Surgery as you may easily spread
infection.

to check your symptoms using the
symptom checker facility.
If you believe that you have
flu then telephone the surgery and tell the receptionist that you are calling
about Swine Flu. Your details will be taken and you will receive a return call
from a doctor or a nurse.
The typical symptoms are:
- sudden
fever, and
- sudden cough.
Other symptoms may include:
- headache,
- tiredness,
- chills,
- aching
muscles,
- limb
or joint pain,
- diarrhoea or stomach upset,
- sore
throat,
- runny
nose,
- sneezing,
and
- loss of appetite.
Most people who have contracted swine flu recover within a week and do not
suffer complications, even without being given antiviral medication. If in
