Surgery

Charles Street Surgery is housed in a modern and attractive building close to the centre of Otley in West Yorkshire, a semi-rural market town on the banks of the river Wharfe.

The practice has been in Otley for many years, the original partners Drs Rhodes and Rushton both worked here for more than fifty years, practising in cramped conditions on Bridge Street and on Gay Lane. 

In 1986 the purpose-built surgery was constructed on an old Gas Board site near the centre of town, and the practice moved from its two sites into this new one. In 1999, after a two-year planning process, the building was extended by another 50%.

The building is light and airy and offers a pleasant environment and first-class facilities for both patients and staff.
