Appointments

Are available between 8.10am and 5.50pm Monday to Friday
Appointments can be made by telephone, calling in at the surgery, or via our online service.

Most appointments can be booked in advance but we also have a 'book on day' facility for more urgent medical problems.

You may consult any of our GPs, please express your preference to the Receptionist. You may find that you will not have a choice of which GP you see for 'book on day' appointments.

Home Visits

Doctors will visit patients who are too ill, or too frail to attend the surgery.

To enable the doctors to plan their day, please telephone the Receptionist before 10.30am to request a home visit. You may be asked for certain information so that the Doctor can assess the urgency of the visit.

GP's prefer to see patients within our surgery, as we have better facilities for examination and treatment than in your home.

 

Telephone Consultations

Some problems can be dealt with over the telephone and this may save the time it would take a doctor to visit you.

Please give the Receptionist some basic details about your medical problem so the GP can be informed.

Reception staff will take a telephone number for the doctor to contact you at a specific time. This does not need to be your home telephone number but can be a mobile or even your work number.
