Charles Street Surgery
Is situated in a purpose-built medical practice building close to the heart of Otley (below), near to the shops and the bus station.
The Practice has been in Otley for many years, the original partners Drs Rhodes and Rushton both worked here for more than fifty years, practicing in cramped conditions on Bridge Street and Gay Lane.
In November 1986 our purpose-built surgery was constructed on old Gas Board Land, and the practice moved from its two sites into this new one.
In 1999, after a two-year planning process this building was then extended by another 50% to give us our existing facility (below).
The Doctors operate as a partnership, contracted under the Personal Medical Services contract to Leeds North West Primary Care Trust (PCT).
The practice has it's own car park, cycle racks, pram park.
The Surgery has full disabled access to all areas and an induction loop is installed – please let reception know if you wish to use this.
