Charles Street Surgery
Special Clinics

We have a number of special clinics which we operate in addition to our normal medical services. Attendance at the clinics will normally be offered to selected patients based on their individual health needs.

Minor Surgery
Minor Surgery

Our doctors will undertake some minor surgery procedures and joint injections within the practice. Patients may be offered minor surgery if they have a condition which may be treated locally – the doctor will let you know about your condition and the procedure itself, and arrange for you to attend a special session.

These sessions are usually conducted by Dr N J Allen or Dr A M Stanley.

Flu Clinic
Flu Clinics

The practice offers flu injection to patients over 65, and to those in the “at risk” groups every year, and the doctors recommend that all patients eligible to receive a vaccination should have one. Delivery of the vaccine to the practice usually takes place during mid – late September, and special clinics are held during September, October, and through to November.

The practice will contact all patients eligible for a vaccination to invite them to attend, however eligible patients are welcome to enquire with reception during September when we should be able to give an indication of the clinic schedule.
