There is a variety of services provided by the NHS locally which are best delivered by specialist staff who cover a number of different GP practices in the area. These services may be delivered here, on the premises in special clinics, or may be delivered by visiting patients in their own homes.

Our Health Visitor is Christine Robinson who is based in the Manor Square clinic in Otley.

The Health Visitor is able to offer support and advice to families from the early years of pregnancy through school attendance and beyond, working closely with the GP and other health staff who work in the community.

They can offer advice on;

Midwife

Tricia Hinds is the local midwife who holds sessions in the practice on Tuesdays. She can be contacted through the Manor Square clinic in Otley.

Midwives offer individual care to women and their families and help them take part in their own care planning during pregnancy.

The midwife will support the woman and her partner, and may help with the birth of the baby. Support continues from the confirmation of the pregnancy and through the post-natal period which follows the end of labour.

We also have a number of other specialist staff who hold surgeries here and patients may be booked in to see them by arrangement with their GP.
